Miracle of Revival
2024
This work of art was presented as part of the exhibition "From Erosion to Hope", which was a donation exhibition held to support the families of the abductees from the atrocities that occurred on October seventh at the Gaza border in Israel.

Each artist was given a worn-out Israeli flag and tasked with 'repairing' it as part of their artistic contribution.

I chose to repurpose the worn flag by integrating old linens that had fallen out of use. The blanket, adorned with soccer motifs, invokes a sense of playfulness. However, the bodies of the players, outlined by the fabric's cuts, look like corpses. The white sheet adorned with hearts symbolizes compassion and empathy, urging us to uphold these values in the wake of tragedies like October seventh.
